Katzenjammer - variable speed looper
demo vid - https://youtu.be/eeCfymPqT7E
Stomp to capture a slice sound, let go to hear it loop back instantly at the speed/pitch selected
The "warp" knob uses the volume of the loop to modulate the speed control, like the chaotic unspooling of a tapeloop
Ideal as a pitch-shifting stutter effect, capturing samples and kicking out warped simulacra
>7 seconds recording at normal playback speed. internal compressor and LPF that tracks with the speed knob
The loops aren't perfect, there's a brief pause between every cycle. Check the video to get an idea. It's barely noticeable at faster speeds. Bypassing the pedal will stop the loop at the end of its current cycle, once the current cycle ends you can hit bypass again to start playback from the beginning, otherwise it just cuts in from its current playback position.
All pedals are lovingly handmade, true bypass and take a +9v centre negative power supply.
